The Ampère Excellence International Student Scholarships are a scholarship program that provides monetary assistance to international students who wish to pursue a master’s or PhD degree in natural or exact sciences, engineering, or humanities at the École Normale Supérieure de Lyon in Lyon, France.
Eligible students include those who wish to study natural or exact sciences, engineering, or humanities.
The scholarship will pay for the student’s tuition costs, as well as provide health insurance and a stipend to cover monthly living expenses. The selection procedure is extremely tough and is based on the academic excellence of the applicant, their previous research experience, and their potential for future success.

The Ampère Scholarships of Excellence give outstanding overseas students the opportunity to enroll in one of the Masters programs that are qualified to be offered at ENS de Lyon.
Available Subjects:
Every ENS de Lyon Master’s Degree Program (excluding FEADép Master’s Programs) in the Hard and Soft Sciences, the Arts, and the Humanities and Social Sciences.
Criteria for Eligibility:
You must be a foreigner and have been born after January 1, 1996, to be eligible (26 years maximum). To get into Masters Year 1, you must show proof that you have a Licence (equivalent to 180 ECTS European credits) or a diploma/level that is the same. To get into Masters Year 2, you must show proof that you passed Masters Year 1 (which is equal to 240 ECTS European credits) or that you have a diploma or level that is equivalent.
